What are your home rental payment terms?
To reserve your rental dates we require a 50% down payment deposit and the remaining 50% payment to be made 60 days in advance of your stay.
Is There a damage deposit required to rent your house?
There is a $500 refundable damage deposit required. As an option you may book through the HomeAway website, where you will purchase a $59 insurance policy as an option.
Are there any additional fees involved to rent your home?
There is a $150 + tx cleaning fee which is paid to our cleaning service.
There will also be tax added for any rental. The Cape Coral tax rate is 11%.
Are pets allowed?
Pets will be permitted with prior approval. There is a $125 + tax pet fee, which we pay our cleaning service per our cleaning contract agreement. Pets are not allowed on the furniture or in the pool at any time and must remain on a leash when outside.
What is your cancellation policy?
Deposit money will be refundable for any cancellations made if we are given at least 60 days of advance notice.
We will refund deposits made with less than 60 days advance cancellation notice if we are able to rent out our property for the cancelled dates. We will do our best to get it rented. Damage deposits will always be refunded for any cancellations.
If we rent your house what are the check in and check out times?
Check in time is 4:00 pm and check out time is 10:00 am. Check in or check out times may be flexible if we have open dates in our reservation calendar.
Are there any age requirements to rent your house?
The minimum age for our rental accommodations is 25 years of age. Guest under the age of 25 years of age must have prior written approval. An additional security damage deposit will be required if we agree to let anyone under the age of 25 rent our accommodations.
What is the maximum occupancy for your rental properties?
The maximum number of guests is limited to six people. An additional charge of $50 per person will be charged unless you have prior permission (in writing) for additional guests.
Do you offer short term rentals and what is the minimum stay required?
Most stays require a minimum stay of four nights. It depends on our availability calendar as to whether your dates will work for us. We prefer not to have a fragmented calendar with our reservations.
Is smoking allowed with any of your villa home rentals?
We have a strict no smoking policy with any of our properties. Guests must smoke outside with closed doors if they wish to smoke.
Do you have a high chair or crib available for small children?
We can provide a high chair with advance notice, we do not have a crib available.
Are linens or towels provided?
Both vacation rentals are equipped with pillows, pillow cases, mattress pads, blankets, sheets, towels, and kitchen towels. Bed sizes are listed on this website. A double set of linens is available for each rental property.
Who pays for the utilities?
Unlike many of the Cape Coral home rentals, we pay for all utilities.
Do your vacation rental homes come with a washer and Dryer?
Our rental properties include high efficiency modern front load washer and dryers.
Do you have internet service available with your villa rentals?
We have high speed wireless internet available for each rental property.
How do we check in upon arrival?
We will provide you with advance instructions and codes for both the garage entry and the front door. (both have key pads)
Are there activities for kids nearby?
Both home rentals are located within a few blocks of the Cape Coral Yacht Club public beach area and the public pool if you prefer.
Do your vacation rental properties have heated pools?
The Birdhouse rental has a solar heated pool and the Coral Ave Villa home rental comes with electric heat.
Do have parking available?
Each house rental has off street parking available for two or three vehicles.
